About Chelmsford County High School for Girls
Chelmsford County High School is a highly selective state grammar school for girls. Students who wish to enter Year 7 at 11 years old take a rigorous entrance examination. The competition for places is fierce. The academic pace is fast and they teach some of the most able girls in the country. All students sit GCSE examinations at the end of Year 11 at 16 years old and most choose to stay at CCHS for the Sixth Form. They admit students from other schools into the Sixth Form and they enrich the student body and benefit from the high academic demands they make and the scholarly ethos of the school.

Chelmsford County High School for Girls Courses
The Chelmsford County High School for Girls exam is written by FSCE (Future Schools Community Enterprise). The exam tests Maths, English, and Creative Writing. With high entry standards to Chelmsford County High School for Girls, your child will need plenty of preparation in order to get in. Parents can choose to use tutors/tuition centres or books/structured courses. The benefits of a structured course are that it is tailored to the area you are applying for and parents can focus on helping their child rather than worrying about which books to buy when and what order to do the work in.
Our courses are used by parents and by private tutors who choose to use them instead of books to help their children.
