About Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School
Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School are a co-educational day school, with approximately 775 pupils aged 11-19 on roll. Around 200 of these are sixth formers. In September 2012 they became an Academy. They are a high performing Specialist School specialising in Science and Modern Foreign Languages. In November 2011 the school was graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. Entry at 11 is determined by their own selection procedures, which are in line with those operating in other parts of the county. Normally they have four forms of entry representing the top 25% of the ability range. Their Sixth Form is open to all students for whom they can provide a suitable course.

Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School Courses and Mock Exams
With high entry standards to Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, your child will need plenty of preparation in order to get in. Parents can choose to use tutors/tuition centres or books/structured courses. The benefits of a structured course are that it is tailored to the area you are applying for and parents can focus on helping their child rather than worrying about which books to buy when and what order to do the work in.
Our courses are used by parents and by private tutors who choose to use them instead of books to help their children.
We also supply a series of mock exams to complete at home. These are invaluable either instead of expensive hall based mocks or done before a hall based mock to ensure you get best value from it.
